FAQ
Each custom piece begins with a conversation. We will talk about what you're looking for, how large, what kind of colors, how it will be hung up or installed and when you would need it by, if there is a deadline. I will give you a price and an estimate of how long it will take. Then we will work together, I will present you with sketches and glass options. Once you are content, I will make the piece.
Typical Lead Times
Small Pieces: 2-3 weeks
Medium Pieces: 3-5 weeks

With some love, stained glass panels can last centuries! All it takes is a little care when moving, installing and cleaning them. Over time, the piece may get dusty, just wipe it with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. For a deeper clean, use a washcloth with some warm water and a little Dawn dish soap and then wipe dry. Over time the lead cames or solder lines may naturally oxidize and turn a powdery white, this can be wiped off with a Q-tip dipped in a solution of water and a little baking soda.
Display your piece somewhere safe where it won't be easily bumped into and only hang small pieces from nails, screws or hooks, avoid suction cups that may fall.
With a ceramics studio, hot & cold glass works as well as a full wood shop in house, I make custom furniture, decor, tiles, light fixtures & lamps. For larger projects, I work with fully insured contractors, glaziers, artisans & experienced preservationists to complete full spec builds.
